Initial Assessment and Preparation - Review the customer’s mounting bracket to confirm it’s compatible with the TV size and weight. - Inspect the wall type (drywall, plaster, concrete, brick) to determine the correct fasteners. - Identify potential obstructions such as electrical wiring, plumbing, or existing wall damage. - Discuss placement height and viewing angle with the customer. 2. Locate Wall Studs or Anchor Points - Use a stud finder to locate wood or metal studs for secure anchoring. (If studs aren’t available in the desired location, determine whether approved heavy‑duty wall anchors or a mounting plate is appropriate for the wall type.) - Mark the drill points for the bracket. 3. Install the Wall Mount Bracket - Level the bracket and mark all screw holes. - Drill pilot holes appropriate for the fasteners being used. - Secure the bracket to the wall using lag bolts or anchors, tightening fully while maintaining level alignment. - Double‑check stability by applying moderate pressure. 4. Prepare the TV for Mounting - Attach the mounting arms or plate to the back of the TV using the correct VESA‑pattern screws. - Confirm all screws are snug but not overtightened to avoid damaging the TV. 5. Hang and Secure the TV - Lift the TV and hook or lock it onto the wall bracket according to the hardware design. - Engage any safety locks, screws, or clips that prevent accidental lift‑off. - Adjust tilt or swivel if the mount allows. 6. Cable Management and Final Checks - Connect power, HDMI, and other cables, ensuring strain relief and clean routing. - Test the TV to confirm it powers on and all inputs function. - Tidy cables with clips or covers if provided. - Clean up the workspace and review the installation with the customer.
